This girl is like a mini Miss Beckham - always so composed, always immaculately dressed, and her smiles (when they happen) never seem genuine. But you know what,she's still a total G.G. She's so glam in fact, she could wear sunglasses to bed and I wouldn't judge.

Graphic design poster: Patrick Park album

We have to design a poster advertising an artist or band's upcoming album without using any images of them. Sounded easy enough at first but boy have I struggled. Why did I have to choose someone I'm barely familiar with?! Streuth!

I'm still in the development stage but thought I might upload what I've done so far for everybody to see. It kind of looks like a novel cover, right?...

Patrick Park is amazing, by the way. Youtube him. "Life is a Song" is one of my faves, which I discovered thanks to my love of The OC.

Momma lookin' good in her new shoot for the September issue of Interview magazine. Love the combo of colours, the smokiness, the grain... totes perf! It's got the Hall & Oates 80s hit "Maneater" playing in my head. Watch out boys, she'll chew you up!

Money and haters. Life of the gramourish. It's no wonder they get compared to the Kardashian clan all the time, but there's only one "Kim" that springs to mind when I look at this poster... Kath & Kim. The runway walking, laughing over the shoulder, and not to mention the closeup of an eye opening is soo Farmer's new season advert.

With all this said, I cannot wait! There better be some bloody drama.

Nicki Minaj "I Am Your Leader" Video

With it's psychedelic and twisty-turny-zoomy visuals,  I am somewhat reminded of Rihanna's S&M video (I think the big hair is a contributing factor too)! It's like being inside adult Barbie's playhouse.

It's much more pleasing to watch than the "Starships" and "Pound the Alarm" videos but I'm still left asking myself, "what the fuck is actually happening?" Sometimes I question how she can still be so relevant when she just releases shit video after shit video.

Seek Best Dressed Wednesday: Renee

Renee was selected as this weeks Best Dressed (and sadly, LAST EVER!) winner on The Seek Insider. The aim of this weeks hunt was to seek out quirky colour combinations. I was really drawn to Renee's rich green ensemble and I love the fact that her bag just blends in.

Below are runners-up Amelia and Emma (cute hat, love the woven, cut-outs of the top!), Danielle (relaxed chic for sure), Georgia (hello highlighter vans - be mine!) and Lei (cutely coordinated and can you say Prada?).

What have we learned from this weeks winners? Working men don't wear colour! Quit with the black already, boys!

Ciara "Livin' It Up"

If you squint your eyes (I know, why would you want to make this image blurry?), do you see Beyonce's and Miley Cyrus' teenage lovechild?

I say yes to the high waisted bikini bottom but I've never been a supporter of leather at the beach. Its clearly warm enough for you to take a dip Ciara, so lose the jacket!

This is her newest single off her soon-to-be released - what, 16th? - attempt at an album "One Woman Army". It's easy to listen to and has radio written all over it. It could very well be the first song to have a video where Ciara isn't dressed like a man with a new era cap on.

Auckland was a stormin'

Not many people were awake (or at least I wasn't) for the storm that hit Auckland on Friday but my boyfriend was. It was no surprise to me to wake up during the night and find him perched on the deck with camera in hand waiting for a bolt of lightning. It paid off because he got some great shots and so far very few have surfaced online.

Needless to say, he's pretty much a celeb in the weather world now. The new Jim Hickey.

Seventh Man "Blonde Ambition"

These are the perfect images to accompany the saying "blondes have more fun" and as I'm always on the hunt for fun, I have to say I'm seriously considering it.

When this Face Juggler pic was first taken of me, I laughed, but maybe I wouldn't look so bad with a long blonde weave.

Adam Levine has never looked better

He's always appeared a bit smug to me - attractive, yes - but smug. Now after having read an interview about his views on gay marriage and being all for it... suddenly Mr. Levine is looking pretty damn good, even with his shirt on!

Yes! Thinking of all of those comments on the poll for legalising gay marriage in NZ just boils my blood. It's no ones business but the couples. Get over it people!

Diane Von Furstenberg FW12/13 Ad Campaign

Hmmm.

Never a good first response is it? "Hmmm". Not quite as impressive as last seasons surrealism approach (take a peak) but I do love that lettering. It's so sharp and shiny. I almost couldn't give a fuck about what the model is wearing. At this stage in fashion, show me anything with a bit of reflective quality and I'm sold. Even if it is just the logo.
