The Best Harlem Shake

We now know the key to a successful Harlem Shake video. Semi nudity. And water! Oh the fun you can have with a sleeping bag in a pool! How do they not float up to the surface? What kind of magic is this?!

One last thing - is anyone ever actually dancing in time with the song?

Scream & Shout & SSHHH PLEASE!

What it do, y'all!

Check out all that 'tude dripping from Britney the Adidas warrior! She goes from leading lady to ghetto back up dancer and looks completely out of place in this urban remix of "Scream & Shout" featuring Lil Wayne, Diddy, Hit Boy and Wacka Flocka Flame. I embarrass.

Marc Jacobs for Diet Coke

Perhaps not as creative as the work of last years creative director Jean Paul Gaultier but Mark Jacobs campaign is definately sexier. And you know what? Crazily, it makes me believe I too could look that good by only drinking diet coke.

The ad takes me back to the 90's with it's ooh-ing and ahh-ing. And the way the one chick says "Jacobs" sounds funny to me.

On a side note: Summer is almost over, so consider me ba-aaack.

Pale "Too Much"

A really effective video and the perfect accompaniment for the style of song. Makes me want to play with melted ice cream again.

Fashion face-offs at the Golden Globes!

Because judging someone is so much easier by comparison. Let the face-offs of the 70th Golden Globe Awards begin!

The Golden Globe for Best Use of Granny's Linen goes to... Lucy who? Lucy Liu! Yes apparently she's back? Jennifer Lopez is disqualified for entering with the dress she wore last year and the year before that and the year before that. Get a new look!

The Golden Globe for Best Boy in a Gown goes to... Anne Hathaway! At last - the hair is growing, right? She looks absolutely flawless. Speaking of floors, how many bathrooms were destroyed in the making of Jodie Fosters dress?

The Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Horror Flick goes to... Kaley Cuoco! Her dress invites you in like a sweet innocent birthday gift but her behind those beady eyes is an evil doll cackling while you sleep! Helen Bonham-Carter has toned down the teasing and actually looks reasonably normal for once.

The Golden Globe for the Face of Ferrero Rocher goes to... Michelle Dockery! A daring move in this stunning Alexandre Vauthier dress. Julianne Hough just looks like a well used tissue. A nice, soft tissue though - I'll give her that.

The Golden Globe for Hottest Pagani Model goes to... Julia Louis-Dreyfus. It came down to her glow. I just want to stroke her from one shoulder to the other. So smooth. But frankly, I hate both dresses.

The Golden Globe for Hottest Sofia Vergara goes to... Sofia Vergara! Even when she's been rolling around in wet tar, the girl looks hella fine. Mini-me Sarah Hyland is too teeny to be rocking such a va va voom look.

The Golden Globe for Tricky Tummy goes to... Jennifer Lawrence! I love a good reflective belt but there is nothing worse than when a belt rises up above the seam. Awkward! Meanwhile Kristen Wiig looks like she got creative with some leftovers from a skin graft. I still can't tell if it's a cut out or a well matched piece of fabric.

The Golden Globe for Best Time Travel Appearance goes to... Emily Mortimer! While she's rocking a futuristic frock from 2023, Halle Berry seems to be stuck in 2003 trying to channel some sort of J.Lo.

The Golden Globe for Best Competitor in a Staring Competition goes to... Cody Horn! I love the black bands! Gives off a real censored vibe and I like that. Katharine McPhee looks sexy too but what you can't see below the pic, is her extended Angelina Jolie leg. Not in my town.

The Golden Globe for Most Shocking Look Ever goes to... Taylor Swift! Girl is finally dressing like the sultry slut she is and it makes me happy. OMG ADELE IS THAT A NEW NAIL POLISH?! YOU ARE CRAZAY!

Bringin' SexyBack

It's a little bit cringe but it has got me excited for the next chapter of Justin Timberlake music. I can't believe it's been like six years since FutureSex/LoveSounds. I feel so old right now.

What I wish I wore today

Oh my! I have been shocking with my updates but when the sun's a callin', can you blame me? This summer has been better than last so far, and the computer just does not fit into that equation.

This is a look I like to call sensitive-track-runner-desperately-wants-to-be-at-the-beach-collecting-shells.

Alberto Cano "oki-ni"

No piece of art can get me wet like a good collage. These works by Albert Cano and Michelle Rafferty for the brand oki-ni really excite me.

Skylar Grey "C'mon Let Me Ride"

As fantastical as I think this song is, can someone please confirm the season for me? The trees are saying Autumn, the bikini bitches are saying Summer, Eminem is saying Winter and the bicycle is saying Spring (you see what I did there?). This just reminds me of how annoyed I get at people who wear beanies to the beach.

This is the lead single off Skylar's upcoming debut album "Don't Look Down" due out early next year!

I swear not to cut my hair

I've been getting really annoyed with it lately. More often than usual, I've considered getting a full chop. And then I watched this video of Travis Cannata cutting his hair and it turned me right off the idea. He looks so much better with his curls!

At the very least, my hair definately needs some trimmage.

There's a new lesbian in town

And her name is Matthew McConaughey. It appears the star of Magic Mike has cast a disappearing spell for his role in the upcoming film "Dallas Buyers Club." I didn't think I'd be so upset about this day but without his bod, he's nothing more than an irritating noise.

Not to worry - he does plan on gaining it all back after filming. Phew!

Will.i.am & Britney "Scream and Shout" video

Is this a music video or an advertisement for all of Will.i.ams new products? Jesus.

I can't believe Britney bitch isn't dancing! She redeems herself with her hotness though. There are actually moments where I'm in disbelief that this is the same X Factor judge who's constantly pulling screwed up catching-a-whiff-of-something-funky facials.

Hyperbeast "Stance"

I love simple imagery like this. Makes me want to run at a wall, and do a back flip off it. I've always wanted to be able to do that.

The lighting and shadows in some of them is so realistic that it steers me away from thinking they've been put together solely in photoshop. Maybe they took two photos - one with no model and then another with the model resting on a platform and then put the two together, and obviously removed the platform. Whatever they did, they look great.

Will.i.am & Britney "Scream and Shout"

I was hesitant at first because their last collaboration "Big Fat Bass" was a big fat load of shit. But this is fun and not what I was expecting, especially the accent. How very sexy, darling. I was completely won over by the "Britney, bitch" sampling. HOT.

What a good night

I swept every inch of the floor with my gluteus maximus last night. And my head paid for it today.

The Whitecliffe Fashion Show was outstanding. Once again, putting shame to AUT's Rookie show. The individual styling and soundtrack makes such a difference. I'll post some of my favourite looks soon!

Funky Trunks time!

Two Summers ago I made the transition from board shorts to trunks. And I've never gone back.

Today I'm off to Parnell Baths and when I was packing I realised, shit, I need to get some new ones for this year. I think I'm feeling this belted ones. How San Fran are they?! Rocked with the mo, they could be so 80s stud.

Husk "Jocks vs. Nerds"

I love the exaggerated, cartoon bully shape of Thom Brownes FW12 pieces but I think wearing clothes this big would scare me. It's like when I see a bump in my bed.. it couldn't possibly be a pillow under the duvet, it has to be a serial killer or some other creepy Grudge like creature coming to get me.

A yes for the tartan and a hell yeah for the puppy print blazer!

A Psy of relief

I am so over the Americans delayed fascination by this song but finally, Psy is mixing things up a little bit at the American Music Awards.

Oh and notice Will.i.ams little plug for his new track with Britney "Scream and Shout". Subtle.

Whitecliffe Y1 Graphic Design Exhibition

My smile appears a little fake, but trust me, I am over the moon about the year being over. It's just taking a while to sink in. What am I going to do with all this free time on my hands? Drink, tan and make some art without a due date!

These pictures are from my exhibition which took place on Friday 16th November. Thanks to my beautiful family and friends who attended and supported me! It was so nice to see strangers liking, loving and even tilting their heads at my work. Good or bad, every response was interesting - especially some of the stories about the meaning behind the showers and ladders painting.

"10 Things" [photographic print], "Viktor & Rolf, Clinique, Colgate, Estee Lauder" [acrylic on card series], "7/pl" [digital print series]
"Yes, but" [mixed media print], "Can't Opener" [pencil sketch on baking paper], "Don't Hold Back" [graphic book], "Les Demoiselles d'Avignon" [photoshop design], "Libra" [photoshop portrait], "Lonliness Knows My Name" [poster]
"The Block" [acrylic on card]
Work that didn't quite make the cut...

The Royal Family "9th Inning"

Another successful clip by the Royal Family, but I reckon it's the camera man who deserves the biggest pat on the back! It's a hard enough task just seeing in the dark as you run around a laser strike building without also having to film a continuous four minute dance video.

My favourite part is at 2:40 when the girl is bitten and dragged away. It's like horror movie cheese but so effective. Gaga-esque Paul is another highlight.
