There's a new lesbian in town

And her name is Matthew McConaughey. It appears the star of Magic Mike has cast a disappearing spell for his role in the upcoming film "Dallas Buyers Club." I didn't think I'd be so upset about this day but without his bod, he's nothing more than an irritating noise.

Not to worry - he does plan on gaining it all back after filming. Phew!

Will.i.am & Britney "Scream and Shout" video

Is this a music video or an advertisement for all of Will.i.ams new products? Jesus.

I can't believe Britney bitch isn't dancing! She redeems herself with her hotness though. There are actually moments where I'm in disbelief that this is the same X Factor judge who's constantly pulling screwed up catching-a-whiff-of-something-funky facials.

Hyperbeast "Stance"

I love simple imagery like this. Makes me want to run at a wall, and do a back flip off it. I've always wanted to be able to do that.

The lighting and shadows in some of them is so realistic that it steers me away from thinking they've been put together solely in photoshop. Maybe they took two photos - one with no model and then another with the model resting on a platform and then put the two together, and obviously removed the platform. Whatever they did, they look great.

Will.i.am & Britney "Scream and Shout"

I was hesitant at first because their last collaboration "Big Fat Bass" was a big fat load of shit. But this is fun and not what I was expecting, especially the accent. How very sexy, darling. I was completely won over by the "Britney, bitch" sampling. HOT.

What a good night

I swept every inch of the floor with my gluteus maximus last night. And my head paid for it today.

The Whitecliffe Fashion Show was outstanding. Once again, putting shame to AUT's Rookie show. The individual styling and soundtrack makes such a difference. I'll post some of my favourite looks soon!

Funky Trunks time!

Two Summers ago I made the transition from board shorts to trunks. And I've never gone back.

Today I'm off to Parnell Baths and when I was packing I realised, shit, I need to get some new ones for this year. I think I'm feeling this belted ones. How San Fran are they?! Rocked with the mo, they could be so 80s stud.

Husk "Jocks vs. Nerds"

I love the exaggerated, cartoon bully shape of Thom Brownes FW12 pieces but I think wearing clothes this big would scare me. It's like when I see a bump in my bed.. it couldn't possibly be a pillow under the duvet, it has to be a serial killer or some other creepy Grudge like creature coming to get me.

A yes for the tartan and a hell yeah for the puppy print blazer!

A Psy of relief

I am so over the Americans delayed fascination by this song but finally, Psy is mixing things up a little bit at the American Music Awards.

Oh and notice Will.i.ams little plug for his new track with Britney "Scream and Shout". Subtle.

Whitecliffe Y1 Graphic Design Exhibition

My smile appears a little fake, but trust me, I am over the moon about the year being over. It's just taking a while to sink in. What am I going to do with all this free time on my hands? Drink, tan and make some art without a due date!

These pictures are from my exhibition which took place on Friday 16th November. Thanks to my beautiful family and friends who attended and supported me! It was so nice to see strangers liking, loving and even tilting their heads at my work. Good or bad, every response was interesting - especially some of the stories about the meaning behind the showers and ladders painting.

"10 Things" [photographic print], "Viktor & Rolf, Clinique, Colgate, Estee Lauder" [acrylic on card series], "7/pl" [digital print series]
"Yes, but" [mixed media print], "Can't Opener" [pencil sketch on baking paper], "Don't Hold Back" [graphic book], "Les Demoiselles d'Avignon" [photoshop design], "Libra" [photoshop portrait], "Lonliness Knows My Name" [poster]
"The Block" [acrylic on card]
Work that didn't quite make the cut...

The Royal Family "9th Inning"

Another successful clip by the Royal Family, but I reckon it's the camera man who deserves the biggest pat on the back! It's a hard enough task just seeing in the dark as you run around a laser strike building without also having to film a continuous four minute dance video.

My favourite part is at 2:40 when the girl is bitten and dragged away. It's like horror movie cheese but so effective. Gaga-esque Paul is another highlight.

Nigeria's "Jail the Gays" bill

At any moment, Nigeria's parliament could pass one of the harshest anti-gay laws the world has ever seen. What's the big deal? If you are gay – or even support someone who is – this new law could send you to jail for up to 10 years. And, if you get married – it's 14!

New songs by Pitbull!

Sorry to sound so excited about that. He releases new music all the time but these are some mega jams! I was going to add a naked picture of Pitbull into the mix but they're hard to find, and probably for good reason.

Tonight: "Have Some Fun" featuring Afrojack and The Wanted. Has that typical The Wanted sound.

Tomorrow night: "Last Night" featuring Afrojack and Havana Brown.

Les Demoiselles d'Avignon

Jason Richards, 2012. "Les Demoiselles d'Avignon".

This is a work I created using hundreds of Photoshop layers. I think I underestimated just how many it would take when I began. It references one of Picasso's revolutionary works (Les Demoiselles d'Avignon, 1907), which shocked and angered society at the time. The confrontational depiction of five prostitutes, their tribal masks and the cubist painting approach were all part of the debate. It was also inspired by the awesome images I've seen at HMN ALNS.

I wanted to assemble a bunch of superhumans, mutants, whatever you want to call them and display them in a similar unnerving way.

Pablo Picasso, 1907. "Les Demoiselles d'Avignon"

This is the image I started with.

Kelly Rowland feat. Lil Wayne "Ice"

This song is so 2007 R&B and I love it. The return of the bob has me jumpin' jumpin' back to the D Child days of "Survivor". This actually could be an outtake from the video.

Lil Wayne makes no appearance, although I would like to believe those are his sparkly lips singing along to his verse.

Is that a Rita Ora Gaga?

All comparisons to Rihanna were temporarily shoved under the rug when Rita Ora opened the MTV European Music Awards in Frankfurt. Singing her shit single "R.I.P", all I could think of was Lady Gaga. After all, her days are over, baby she's over.

Regardless, it's much too soon to be rocking the red lace. She might as well have come out in an egg, covered in meat offcuts. The worst part is - and I dare not put them on here - she completed the look with a pair of Jordans.

The Essence of David Beckham

If ever there was a time to get away with vocalising the creepy thoughts going through my head about Becks, I figured now would be the perfect time as I stare at this new fragrance ad of his. Hot damn - I just want to smell you! Super slick, so dashing.

The bottle reminds me of the steamy bathroom of the hotel room you've booked for just the night... if only the showering Becks came with it too. At least we have the new set of H&M ads. Merry Christmas!

Azealia Banks "Atlantis"

The only way this could be anymore tumblrtastic is if the song was retitled with a dollar $ign instead of the 's'. Reminds me of videos by M.I.A and Santigold, to name a couple, but there are sharks and sharks are fucking cool.

Seriously, if I had a dollar for every bindi...

University's out for Summer!

Last day was spent finishing up my giant expressive painting then enjoying a few beverages at the sunny rose gardens. All the hard work is done. Now it's time for exhibition week!

Jason Richards

These are a few of my classmates works. Remember the length is at least the height of themselves. From top to bottom, left to right: Jessie Phillips, Mania Moko, Christian Wolfgramm, Monica Kwon, Kate Vincent, Josh Hamilton and Leia Murcott.

Ke$ha "Die Young"

It's Britney, bitch?

I was wondering how long it would take for Ke$ha to start dancing in her video clips. They obviously spent a bit of time on the choreography because at times you catch what looks to be some pretty intense moves but she must shit because it's all chopped up. You'd expect to see a bit more than one second of dancing for every 10, especially during the chorus, but all you get are sexy eyes and slow motion hair whips.

I caved... and bought shoes!

Nike Lunar Safari Fuse

What's a girl to do when he's worked a few extra shifts? Plus, it's kind of like an early end-of-uni-year pressie to myself. This is how I justify all my purchases.

At last, the Nike Cortez' I wore to my Year 8 graduation in 2002 can move into a well deserved and happy retirement. I can't believe it's been ten years and they still fit me. I had monster feet for a 12 year old.
