Will.i.am & Eva Simons "This Is Love" Video

Produced by Swedish House Mafia, this is a certified hit right here. The last time I heard Eva Simons name, everyone thought her song was a Gaga & Rihanna collaboration. Now everyone's just wondering if that's Rihanna's old weave.

As for Will.i.am, the star of the show, for once we are seeing him in reasonably normal clothes. No 3D glasses, no metal turtlenecks, no cyborg robotic electronic pants from the future that light up to the beat. Did you notice he wears his stunna shades in the rain yet when it's sunny he does not? That's how ballas ball. Speaking of balls, that is one mouth I would not go anywhere near! That tongue... it's greyer than the weather.

I cannot forget this hot Asian girl. I don't know who she is but I want to be her friend. Drippin' in swag.

Seek Best Dressed Wednesday

Jen (Accountant) was selected as this weeks #1 look for The Seek Insider: Best Dressed Wednesday. For someone who claims to not follow fashion at all, she sure knows how to put together a clean look. What really drew me to the outfit was scarf with it's juggled colours that look like they've fallen down onto her bag. The clean white coat helped to consolidate everything nicely.

Below are runners up Kala (I kind of want that hat), Olivia (What a beautiful poncho!), Georgie (the detailing of the jacket is awesome) and Eamonn (love the pop of red against the parka).

And what have we learnt in todays lesson? If you do not have a brown leather satchel, you are not living.

Kylie Minogue "Timebomb" Video

What's half of 88? The amount of sunglasses that featured in this video clip

It's also the age and temperature of Kylie Minogue in the video for her new single "Timebomb"! This is how you do old and well, Madz!

Another boyband sensation

Meet Midnight Red (yes, I too thought it was a new perfume). I like that looking at these guys reminds me of looking at the Spice Girls. I can actually tell them apart, unlike other boy bands of today. We've got Metal Spice, Blacky Spice, Muso Spice, Faggy Spice and Jock Spice.

Midnight Red's best attribute is possibly their biggest downfall. Their new single "Hell Yeah!", with the exception of the name, isn't actually half bad! I know, I said it! Boy band music is supposed to be cheesy as fuck. And annoying. And you're certainly not supposed to give in to it right after the first listen. Maybe it's the fact that RedOne produced the track so it doesn't make me feel like a seven year old girl.

Rather it makes me feel like a sixteen year old girl using her fake ID in the clubs.

You mean Brenda Walsh?

So I was playing Mind Games, as you do when you've lost the HDMI cord for the Xbox Kinect, and boy were they testing me! Obviously a trick question...

IT'S BRENDA WALSH! It's a strange feeling that takes over me when I spot an error... at first I'm excited because I'm like yay I spotted it, and then that turns to anger when I fully register that someone made such a stupid mistake and then along comes Jan Brady twitchy insanity when I realise I can't do anything to fix it.

F.O.D. Magazine "What a Piece of Work Man is"

This is one of the best shoots I've seen in a while, and yes, simply because of the hair. I love when guys have girls hair! Photographed by Asaf Einy and hair by Sagi Dahary, it's a reflection on masculinity and gender perceptions.

Normally when there's an element of femininity in a mens shoot, they end up in full drag or drowning in glitter. It's nice to see this minimalistic approach.

Macy Gray at "The Paperboy" Photocall

She makes the cut for promoting the film at the Cannes Festival but not for the poster. She be like, "Yo Zac! I is narrator of dat shiat, lemme in da poster!"

She's taken Katy Perry's "Part Of Me" look and made it even more lesbian. Who knew it was  possible? It's like the safari guide killed a lion, ate it and took the mane as a souvenir.

Dressing Clashually for boys

Just like putting your ankles behind your ears, clashing is not something that everyone can do. But luckily for you, I can!

I'm also good at dressing clashually. It's all about pairing the right patterns. It helps if there's a hierarchy within the patterns like in the above example. If you squint your eyes you'll see the tee stands out more because of it's high contrast and large shapes so it sits nicely in against this blue aztec shirt which features a more scaled down pattern. They should never be too similar in scale, tone or colour.

Orange and blue are complimentary colours so these jeans go perfectly and the tiny hint of red on these hi top converse's pull the look together. So, just because you're a boy doesn't mean you can't dress on trend.

I'm busy doing

...this! Making a magazine. Aren't workshop weeks great? An assignment on top of all your other assignments to get completed in four days. Mine is all done but let's just pray that Forge Media gets it all printed and binded by the 10am deadline tomorrow. Eeek!

In other news, ReQuest danced for Jennifer Lopez in the American Idol season finale, can you believe it?!

Magic Mike Trailer

Visually, 10. Audibly, 0...

As if Matthew McConaughey's voice wasn't enough to make me completely limp, who gave the all clear on Rihanna's "We Found Love" being the theme song? I would understand if it was a film about stripping drag queens.

I guess, as I've just proven by making my second post in the last few days about Magic Mike, they have to appeal to their main audience. The residents of Family Bar.

Faint Magazine "Living In A Strange World"

Faint is always inspiring it's readers with it's high fashion editorials and avant-garde imagery. I love this shoot with Bonnie Strange (sounds like a Marvel character), photographed by Jana Van De Boldt.

Sure, we've seen ginger models and spikes and the bleached brows all before, but what I really like is the dark aqua lipstick. It makes a statement but isn't as outrageous as the brighter hues, blues and yellows, we've seen on celebs like Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj.

KA'OIR has an awesome range of funky colours and I found a dark green lipstick by Manic Panic on their official website. Although if the quality of their website design is anything to go by...

Seek Best Dressed: Runners Up

These are the runners up for this weeks Seek Best Dressed segment. Emma, Laura, Lucy and Siqi. Unfortunately if you aren't number one, your photo doesn't make the website but hey - you get marshmallows and a badge!

Emma's peek of skin is just what this heavy, black outfit needed to sexy things up a little. Diggin' Laura's shirt and sweater combo; a popular preppy style at the moment. What I love about Lucy is she that she wore her hat even though it was raining! Siqi's look is very polished and the black blazer helps to contain the crazy print on the dress.

What I'm listening to tonight

Nicki Minaj "Right By My Side" Video

After the party single always comes the slow relationship song. The track featuring Chris Brown serves as Nicki's second official single off her album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.

I still stand by what I said when I reviewed this album last month. This song is soo Keri Hilson and Kelly Rowland and the video only confirms this with 90% of it being in slow motion (Youtube "Knock You Down", "Keep It Between Us"). There's the usual batting of the eye lashes, exaggerated expressions and typical cheesy couple moments.

I can't tell if she's with Nas or Chris or both of them but she makes it to the end of the clip without any bruises so one can only assume she's with Nas. I'm all for passion but their kiss seems like it goes on for way too long. Makes me uncomfortable.

Magic Mike boys in Entertainment Weekly

Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey, Matt Bomer, and Joe Manganiello strip down for the July issue of Entertainment Weekly.

Joe and those suspenders... They do for me what nipple tassels do for normal guys. He's the star of this shoot! With that bloody hat and cowboy lean, Matthew needs to go back to the Sahara.

Snow White & The Huntsman Premiere

There was a gothic romance theme at the London premiere of the movie "Snow White & The Hunstman". So much so I thought the cast had come dressed in character, hence why I made my own version of the promotional poster on the right with them in their designer gears.

Kristen Stewarts wears a long sleeve lace gown by Marchesa with a beautifully embroidered skull illusion. It's dark and sexy without too much pinky-up primness. Charlize Theron is in Christian Dior Couture. I like, but there's something about wrapping fabric over the boobs. It's as if the only thing holding it together is the waistband. It looks cheap and like she's onto her first layer of becoming a mummy for halloween. New DILF Chris Hemsworth just looks delicious, or should I say delishchris! Like the girls he opts for a sleek up do.

Here continues the sheer, lace and black gothic trend with Lizzie Cundy, Lily Cole, Laura Haddock and Liberty Ross.

Seek Best Dressed Wednesday: Andrew

On this, our first truly cold morning of the year, it was difficult to find Aucklands five best dressed people on their way to work. Everyone was hidden under layers of black. This is why I hate Winter fashion in New Zealand.

Andrew was the first person I ran in to today and the ultimate winner as selected by the staff at the Seek Insider. What I like about his outfit is how well it's put together, down to the finest details. Pairing a blazer with a nice fitting jean still looks clean and sophisticated but way more fun.

No Doubt records "Push & Shove"

This is the first of many webisodes to come, as we approach the release of No Doubts new album due out September 25th! What a nice early birthday present that'll be for me.

The track they're recording "Push & Shove" is a collaborative effort with Major Lazer and Busy Signal. It sounds fun, but I hate the teasing, just give us the full song! It's so good to have Gwens sweet lips on my ears again.

Tom Cruise in W Magazine

W for Why does he have to believe in aliens?! All the necessary elements to make a mouth-watering cover; tatts, abs and skin tight pants but then my eyes move up from that crotch hungry hand and there's his face. His loopy, eye-lined face. He just can't be sexy.

He features on the cover of the mags June issue to promote his new film "Rock of Ages".

Chris Crocker in V Magazine

Who new the man was even still alive?

He's thrown in the tranny life to focus more on his music career which is clearly going very well for him. When he's not busy with that, he's updating his tumblr page daily with pictures and videos of himself. Videos that may disturb the straight eye (or anyones actually - there's a clip of him dancing naked... with his mum!) so tread carefully.

Cherub

Cherub is a sexy, avante garde, electro-pop duo that is the dance love-child of 80’s funk, and pop-music from the future. When I listen to they're music I feel like I'm having a night of passion with Prince, Calvin Harris and Pharrell.

This is the video for their latest single "Hold Me" off the Man of the Hour EP. Watch it! Then download "XOXO" and "Doses and Mimosas" and dance the night away on a rooftop.

Bewares! Nicole in flares!

Just because you're in Australia doesn't mean you have to adopt the shit fashion sense of the nation. So much is wrong with these pants, and no, it's not the fact that they're flares. It's the casual wash and the fit - god awful. What I would've liked to have seen Nicole in is a pair of contrasting floral capris.

It's fashion crimes like these that are keeping the fear of the flare alive. Skinny jeans can only last so long, and once we've tried every block colour, we'll have to move onto something else. Asos has a few good pairs that are worth checking out if you can see the potential!

Delta Goodrem "Sitting On Top Of The World"

I may be gay, but I'm not normally this gay. I thought now would be the perfect time to confess my love for this song since everyone's been so accepting of "Call Me Maybe" and 1-D (One Direction for all you unhip folk).

If the town of Pleasantville had made a music video when they discovered colour, it would look like this. Giant amounts of cheese and corn and fairy dust!

Delta looks fiiine. I especially like her with her hair pinned back.
