Ricky Gervais returned for the third year in a row as host of Sunday nights 69th Golden Globe Awards. After all the criticism he received for his jokes last year (which I just found hilarious and on point) he did seem to tame it down. I don't think there was any need, because he wouldn't have been invited back if that's not what the viewer wanted. Reviews are already popping up all over the internet saying how tired and boring his jokes were this time around.
I commend him on his performance and his suit. All the men need to start wearing more colour! But what what WHAT was he thinking when he slipped into those shoes?! There's no such thing as an evening wear trainer! There's probably a velcro strap hiding under those trousers. Comfort never comes first at a red carpet event.
