Trends @ the Golden Globes

I don't think I've ever seen so much nude on the red carpet. From left to right below we have Heidi Klum in Calvin Klein, Katharine McPhee in Donna Karan, Sarah Hyland in Dolce and Gabbana, Kristen Wiig in Bill Blass and Mary J. Blige in Michael Kors.

Heidi in this gown looks so effortlessly beautiful. On anyone else it'd look like bed time was approaching. Baby blue is the perfect hint of subtle colour to complete the 10/10 look. The rest of the ladies blend into the walls, or in Mary J's case... blend into the rug.

It seems as though you can't wear sparkling silver without having your right hand on your hip. Lea Michele wears Marchesa, Nicole Richie in Julien MacDonald and Shailene Woodley also in Marchesa.

These ladies are quite possibly three of the best dressed from the night. I have to indirectly compliment Lea because I really don't like her. Ahhhh but it's so hard to deny, gurls workin it! The way the light hits Nicole's dress is just amazing and I adore her hair pushed back with the full fringe.

Mermaid dresses were another favourite. Elle MacPherson wears Zac Posen, Rooney Mara in Nina Ricci, Kelly Osbourne in Zac Posen, Sofia Vergara in Vera Wang, Reese Witherspoon in Zac Posen and Madeleine Stone in Vera Wang. Trending designers too it seems.

With the exaggerated shoulder and elbow length sleeve, Kelly's dress sets her apart from the rest. The slicked back hair not only draws our attention to the dress but lets us appreciate her beautiful face!
